Crafts/Entertainment
You can save money with just about anything. I have also saved money on almost all craft materials for my children. As for your children's creative activities, It's all in the way you shop for your materials. For instant if your child wants to paint, there are many ways you can do this. Paint is affordable at the dollar store. Think about it there are eight primary colors and at $1.00 a bottle, that's only $8.00! This paint can will do a child a whole lot of painting before you run out as they usually come in a fair size bottle. Paint can also be made homemade, I have posted just a few links on how to make homemade crafts for your little one at a low price. Remember play time doesn't have to be just crafts. Most children,, if not all children love the outdoors. There are also cheap ways to help kids with their hand and eye coordination. There is riding a bike, playing ball, or swimming just to name a few.
Then there is entertainment for the older children. Most like video games and well they too can be expensive. They can play games on a computer for nothing, swap dvd's with friends, go bike riding, skating or swimming. It is cheaper to buy a seasonal swim pass as suppose paying the admittance fee every time.

Here are some homemade recipes that are the most popular in this house.
